Our closing plenary brings big ideas and real-world urgency, featuring Scott Galloway digging into the thought-provoking ways that innovation and technology are changing how communities connect and how harm can spread. We will be joined by the parents of Sarah Milgrim z”l who was fatally shot in an act of antisemitism outside the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C. in 2025. We will present the Abraham Award to Lucy Aharish, recognizing bridge-building leadership that expands understanding through storytelling, dialogue and empathy. Oren Segal will spotlight the ADL Center on Extremism's work identifying, tracking and addressing threats to protect Jewish communities. Pamela Nadell will join us to discuss the role the Jewish community has played throughout American history as America celebrates 250. Dan Senor will record a special Iran-focused session of his Call Me Back podcast from the ADL Never Is Now stage, analyzing “What Comes Next.” Montana Tucker will share the tools needed to leave the summit prepared to take action in your community.

Lucy Aharish

News Presenter, Journalist, and Television Host (Virtual)

Lucy Aharish is an Israeli news presenter, journalist, and television host.

Born in 1981 in Dimona, Israel, Aharish was the only Arab Muslim student at her school. In the summer of 1987, a few months before she turned six years old, she was slightly injured when a Molotov cocktail was thrown at her family’s car by Palestinian militants while driving in the Gaza Strip.

Aharish is a graduate of the Hebrew University, where she studied political science and theater, and the Koteret School in Tel Aviv, completing her degree in journalism and a six-month internship in Germany. Upon her return, Aharish became the first Arab to present the news on prime time television in Israel.

For 3 years hosted the prime time news show on I24news channel in English, and was the show runner for the English and Arabic channel. For 5 years hosted a daily news talk show on Reshet broadcast, also directed and hosted several  documentaries on the channel. For the last two years the cofounder and head anchor on DemocratTV. A crowd funded independent social media platform that became the biggest crowd funding project in Israel. She is well-known for promoting pluralism and interdenominational openness in Israel’s public agenda.

In 2015, she was awarded one of Israel’s highest honors and was selected to light a torch at  the national Independence Day ceremony on Mount Herzl, the theme of which was “groundbreaking Israelis.” She also received the OMETZ (courage) award in October 2015 for her fight against racism in Israeli society.

Now – at 2025, hosting a daily news TV show on Channel 13 in Israel. This year Lucy was awarded by the Movement for Quality Government in Israel in recognition of promoting a discourse of tolerance, equality, and mutual respect even in moments of national crisis and for being a bridge between communities. And just few days ago she was honored by the Peres Center for Peace and Innovation for inspiring other women and for her contribution to society in Israel and in the world.

Pamela Nadell

Professor and Author of "Antisemitism, an American Tradition"

Pamela Nadell holds the Patrick Clendenen Chair in Women’s and Gender History at American University.  She holds a B.A. from Douglass College, Rutgers University, and a Ph.D. from Ohio State University.  Her book America’s Jewish Women: A History from Colonial Times to Today (W.W. Norton) won the 2019 National Jewish Book Award’s “Jewish Book of the Year” and was translated into Hebrew.  A National Endowment for the Humanities Public Scholars Award supported her new book, Antisemitism, an American Tradition (W.W. Norton), winner of this year’s National Jewish Book Award in American Jewish Studies.  The Wall Street Journal named it a “book to read,” and it made Hadassah Magazine and Religion News Service 2025 best books lists.  A past president of the Association for Jewish Studies, Nadell consults to museums, including the rebuild of The Tree of Life and the Weitzman National Museum of American Jewish History. She was the fourth witness in the congressional hearing with the presidents of Harvard, University of Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Dan Senor

Co-author of THE GENIUS OF ISRAEL and START-UP NATION, and Host of the CALL ME BACK Podcast

Dan Senor is the co-author of the New York Times bestselling books THE GENIUS OF ISRAEL: The Surprising Resilience of a Divided Nation in a Turbulent World (2023) and START-UP NATION: The Story of Israel’s Economic Miracle (2009), which has been translated into more than 30 languages. He is also the host of the CALL ME BACK podcast.

Dan is an Equity Partner and a member of the Management Committee at Elliott Investment Management L.P. He previously served in a range of roles advising Marco Rubio, Paul Ryan, and Mitt Romney. During the presidential administration of George W. Bush, Dan was based in Baghdad for one year, where he served as chief spokesperson for the U.S.-led coalition in Iraq. Before that, he was a senior Defense Department official based at U.S. Central Command in Qatar. For his service in these roles, he was awarded the Pentagon’s highest civilian honor – the U.S. Department of Defense Medal for Distinguished Public Service – by the Secretary of Defense.

He has written for The Financial Times and The Wall Street Journal, and appears frequently on CNBC’s “Squawk Box,” CNN’s “Fareed Zakaria GPS,” “CBS Mornings” and Fox News Channel’s “America’s Newsroom” and “Fox & Friends”.

Dan currently serves on the boards of The Paul E. Singer Foundation, Start-Up Nation Central, and the Abraham Joshua Heschel School. He holds a B.A. in History from the University of Western Ontario and studied in the one-year international program at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
