Parenting Through Antisemitism: Helping Children Face Hate with Strength and Empathy

Featuring Zibby Owens, Bianna Golodryga

Mar 17, 2:45pm-4:00pm ET Livestream
Moderated by author and podcast host Zibby Owens, whose anthology On Being Jewish Now reflects her deep commitment to amplifying Jewish voices, join journalists and mothers Bianna Golodryga and Yonit Levi as they share the deeply personal and timely story behind their collaboration on ""Don't Feed the Lion,"" their children's book that addresses antisemitism, empathy, and moral courage. Motivated by their own experiences with antisemitism and those of their children, they set out to create the very resource they struggled to find: an empowering story for young readers that helps them recognize injustice, understand the power of allyship, and speak up. This is not just a book, it’s a tool for change and conversation to explore the real-world effects of antisemitism and bullying, providing a resource for families to discuss difficult topics, emphasizing courage and standing up to hate.
