Holocaust denial and distortion are spreading at an alarming rate, particularly in digital spaces where young people spend their time. As misinformation evolves and reaches new audiences through social media, media literacy has become essential to preserving historical truth and protecting collective memory. This panel will equip parents and educators with practical strategies to identify, counter, and prevent Holocaust misinformation and to support young people who encounter it. Panelists will examine how propaganda fuels antisemitism and Holocaust distortion by exploring current research on antisemitism in online spaces where young people gather, including gaming platforms. Drawing on media literacy frameworks, survivor testimony, and primary sources, the discussion will address how students engage with digital environments and provide strategies for challenging problematic content through tested educational approached
