Jeremy Sherman

Director, Strategic Initiatives, ADL

Jeremy Sherman is the Director of Strategic Initiatives in ADL’s Innovation & Strategy department, where he plays a pivotal role in developing and advancing innovation projects across the organization. Jeremy has spearheaded the development and piloting of numerous AI tools for both internal and external use, including ADL’s latest initiative to create an AI assistant that enables the public to report incidents, find resources, and discover actions to combat antisemitism. Drawing on his experience as a former management consultant and as an early employee at a Shark Tank-featured startup, Jeremy combines his private sector expertise, industry knowledge, project management skills, and startup mentality to drive innovation at ADL. His passion for this work stems from his involvement in BBYO, the largest world’s Jewish youth movement, where he served as International President and engaged with Jewish teen communities globally. Based in Washington, D.C., Jeremy is an alumnus of Washington University in St. Louis. He hails from Detroit, is half-Colombian, and is fluent in Spanish.
